DIY Chunky knit Snood

This time of year calls for all things snug and cosy. My obsession with knitwear continues with the Mytically Chunky yarn. The yarn is a synthetic yarn made from acrylic wool, it comes in a variety of colours. Read on to see how I made this super quick and easy snood.

You’ll need:

4 skeins of Mythically Chunky wool (100g, 48m per skein)

9mm knitting needles

Sewing needle

Aran yarn or embroidery thread | similar colour to your chunky wool

1×1 GARTER STITCH

Cast on 24 stitches.

1X1 garter stitch: *Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row repeat from*

CAST OFF

Cast off and stitch ends together using a similar colour yarn that’s less chunky.

FINITO

Keep posted for more cosy knit projects. I thoroughly enjoyed knitting this snood whilst travelling on the train, or simply sipping Christmas latte sat in Starbucks.
