Following on with my obsession over pom poms I decided to cut back costs by creating my very own Anthropology inspired wreath. This wreath has a festive twist with Christmas baubles and felted decorations. I just love the vibrant colours of blues, pinks, purple and white.
You’ll need:
polystyrene wreath
an assortment of yarn in different colours
cream | white yarn
Christmas baubles
a pair of scissors
glue gun
felted Christmas decorations
colourful cord | ribbon
STEP ONE
Wrap your cream or white yarn around the polystyrene wreath.
Use a glue gun to secure the yarn at the beginning and end.
STEP TWO
Arrange the pom pom, baubles and felted decorations around the wreath before glueing them in place. Click here for my previous blog post on how to make pom poms using the Clover Pom Pom maker.
STEP THREE
Glue the pom poms, baubles and felted decorations firmly in place.
*Mix and match a variety of shapes and colours around your wreath for a statement design.
STEP FOUR
Wrap a colourful cord or ribbon through the centre of the glued pom poms and baubles for hanging and decorating around the house or on your front door.
FINISHED
Looks like I’ll be hanging ours outside our front door just incase someone get’s their little paws on them.
