With its beautiful packaging and ingredients infused with botanicals for naturally radiant skin it’s no wonder why Pixi has a worldwide following amongst women of all ages. I have been using the skincare range for over a year and still cannot get over the gorgeous packaging and even more gorgeous skintreats.
I’ve been using the Double Cleanse, Cleanser and Rose tonic for a while now especially after my life threating hospital admission for Sepsis, part of my absence from social media and my much loved blog posts. I’ll share my miraculous recovery from Sepsis when I’m emotionally ready.
After spending just over two weeks in hospital my face was dry and lacking its usual glow. This was down to having IV antibiotics and spending 5 days on a ventilator for my collapsed lungs caused by the infection. Upon my speedy recovery one which I will never take for granted I decided to stock up on my favourite skintreats…
After a long day spent with full coverage makeup I was eager to apply the solid cleansing oil to remove dirt and the make up from my skin. Rich in Camellia oil and vitamin E the solid oil absorbed well into the skin without irritation. For best results you need to apply a coin size amount onto your skin whilst massaging in a circular motion. Remove with a warm damp face cloth.
Next apply a coin size amount of cream cleanser, rich in vitamin C and peptide the cream cleanser relaxes lines and promotes collagen. Massage thoroughly in circular motions and remove with a cold damp face cloth.
The Double Cleanse works perfectly for removing stubborn makeup and works gently and most importantly, effectively on the skin. Use sparingly and the tub goes a long way.
With its pore cleansing mud enriched with soothing botanicals and a small percentage of glycolic, the mud cleanser worked perfectly to revive my dull skin. Used specifically after the Double Cleanse in the evening and applied to damp skin I massaged a small amount around my face for just a few seconds before rinsing off with warm water. After just two weeks of using the mud cleanser my skin was noticeably clearer and more radiant.
Used first thing in the morning the Glow Tonic Cleansing gel left my face feeling energized and refreshed. Containing aloe vera and ginseng it left my skin feeling smooth and fresh in just one use. This product is more of a cleanser and not for removing makeup. It is very gently on the skin; a word of warning, you need to be extra careful when pouring the cleansing gel into your palm as it is not a very thick liquid. If you’re a fan of the Glow tonic range you’ll love this new cleansing gel.
The Rose Tonic is a fairly new toner by Pixi beauty, it works perfectly for neglected skin, it helps to tone the skin and remove impurities. The Rose tonic contains natural rose flower extract great for reducing redness. This toner is fab for oily combination skin and left my face looking more healthy and plump.
After a period of neglect I have my skin mojo back. The Pixi Skintreats has worked its wonders on my skin once more.
Have you guys tried any of the Pixi Skintreats products? If so which one(s) and how was your experience? I would love to know what you think. Please share your stories in the comment section below.
